Looking for a hostel that shows the spirit of Ghent? Somehow different, friendly, fun, but most of all relaxed?

After sailing the seven seas we dropped our anchors in the sparkling, enchanting city of Ghent. Life is pretty good in Ghent, why wouldn't it be? The city has balls, the people are charming and welcoming, and the boat is eco friendly and unique!

It's not everyday you can be a pirate, you might as well go for it! Don't forget that land was only created to provide a place for boats to moor...  You'll find the boat on a lazy canal just outside the historic centre, quiet, lush and green.

Low impact

The hostel is a converted barge, with a water purification on top of the roof, you sleep on 100% natural mattresses in a low energy building that's CO2 neutral... 
We have some excellent organic beers, wine, lemonade and juices on offer, which you can drink on the - if you're lucky- sunny deck! Work like a captain, but most importantly, play like a captain!

But don't let the fact that we're 'eco' scare you, you don't compromise any comfort, on the contrary! The showers are huge and warm, the beds are big and soft, and hey...  you're on a boat! Arrrrr
