Rooms
In total we offer 18 beds, ranging from double rooms to dormitories for 6 and 8 people. The rooms have a common living room and bathrooms and a sunny outdoor terrace. In the lounge you have free WiFi, games, a small (but interesting) library and a book swap. Lockers are found in the hallway, and are free! The hostel is always accessible with a personal access badge, which means there's no curfew.
The dormitories for 6 and for 8 people have bunk beds, and the price is per bed. Bed linen is included in the price, as well as pillows and duvets, so please don't use your own sleeping bags! An organic / fair trade breakfast, linen and taxes are included as well. Upon request a vegan breakfast is possible.
The double rooms have double beds, and in the morning we provide an organic breakfast. The price is for two, including breakfast, linen and taxes.
Bookings
Bookings can be made in several ways. By email (andromeda@ecohostel.be) or by phone (0032 486 678 033).
To confirm a reservation we ask or a credit card number and expiry date, or to pay one night in advance. When you made a reservation in advance, you can arrive untill 8 pm, or let us know (in advance) when you will be here aproximately. Anyhow, reception is open from 2 pm to 8 pm.
The hostel can be booked completely. The number of people staying is up to you, but maximum 18, for 450 € a night. For group bookings please contact us!
Prices
Double room : 65 € for 2 persons
Dormitory 8 persons : 22 € pppn
Dormitory 6 persons : 24 € pppn
The prices include an organic, fair trade and veggie breakfast (upon request vegan), city tourist taxes, linen and the authentic flemish art city of Ghent! Stay low impact and low budget!
Terms and conditions
If you make a reservation we ask to pay one night in advance (if you book more than one night, we ask a deposit of 50 %), or to provide us with a credit card number and expiry date. This is a safety measure for no shows (when we charge the first night), or for late cancellations; otherwise we don't use this information. Cancelling is possible up to 48 hours in advance, before 12 pm. If you paid a deposit we'll refund it back to you. If you cancel later than 48 hours we don't.
If you make a reservation through hostelworld or an affiliate, their cancellation conditions are applied. Cancelling is possible up to at least 24 hours in advance, also before 12 pm; late cancellations mean we charge you the first night! You can or cancel through your account of hostelworld, or cancel directly through mail or phone; in the latter case your reservation is not cancelled if you don't receive a confirmation trough mail. The deposit you've paid is never refunded by hostelworld.
For group bookings we have a specific cancellation policy: in this case you can cancel up to two weeks in advance. If you cancel later we keep a deposit of 50% of the first night, or charge your card with this amount.
